Do any of you sell baby chicks?
How much do you sell barnyard mixes for?

We sell baby chicks here at our farm and at swap meets. We sell them from 1-3 dollars a piece for day olds depending on breed but they are all purebred whatever breed they are.

Cool, I just set 18 eggs and while I want to keep one or two I will need to get rid of the others and thought I'd sell them on CL.

I sell crosses locally for $5 day old
Chech your local craigslist and see what they are going for.

Here Golden comets are $2.00, Golden Buffs are $1.75 and there is another place that sells chicks for $2 each then they add $1 for every additional week ($2 for week olds, $3 for 2 week olds, etc).

All of that is for straight run. I didn't know if that was cheap or expensive.

I was thinking of doing a buy five get one free deal for straight run and making them $1.50 each.

    Would that be decent?
