I am planning on buying some ducks and raising them and selling them. I was hoping for some opinions on what age I should sell them at, what breeds I should raise, and how much to sell for.

Are you incubating them?..What breeds?...I have Calls and breed and sell Ducklings at 2 days old for $20 a Duckling.
Standard breeds sell for $10 a Duckling..

I haven't decided yet... what's your opinion? I have read that it brings in more money if you incubate yourself? If I were to do that, should I buy my own mallard and duck or buy fertilized eggs? I was also thinking about doing call ducks.

I have my own Calls and collect the eggs for incubation in my incubator..Here Mallards are thick in the summer so not popular.

Did you buy your ducks from a breeder? Any ideas on where I could get mine from?

    Hello Canadian...:frow
I have gotten lucky finding Calls and I then breed my own to add to my breeding program.
