There are many regulations regarding the slaughter of meat for sale. There are also "cottage Food" laws and small farm exemptions or out right loop holes. It depends on how many birds per year and who you sell to. If you have 20 meat birds you intend to slaughter and your neighbor, relative, ect. want to buy six of the birds, that is not a big deal, but it's best to warn them of potential illness IMHO.
