I am very sure that one of my hens has vent gleet. Tomorrow I will be giving her an epsom salt bath and putting monistat (or something similar) on her vent. I will also put ACV in her water. Any other suggestions? Also, do I really have to separate the poor thing? I’ve read that I need to.

So, here is a pic. Yesterday she had some runny white poo hanging off her feathers. Today it’s just yucky and matted.

Does it smell? If it's a yeast infection, miconazole AND starving the yeast is recommended, by giving protein rich food (boiled egg) and plain yogurt with live cultures. Not so much 'feed'. If there is a roo around, it's contagious. If there is no roo, no need to separate. You should see at least slight improvement daily with this plan ...if after a few days nothing much changes, then it's not a fungal infection and you can move on to the next possible explanation. Hope this helps.
