Separating my ducks and chickens

I have 3 hens, 1 rooster and a mating pair of runner ducks in a pen together. They have been together since I brought them home from the feed store about 12 weeks ago. I am thinking of giving the ducks away so that they can have a pond instead of a very small kiddie pool to swim in. I am worried that they will miss the chickens or will they just do their regular thing?

A mated pair of ducks will readily adapt to their new environment. The pair bond is far stronger than the flock bond.
