Separation anxiety?

    One of my little silkies was pretty close to my BO roo (whom I've just found a home for, can't have a roo). She really seems to miss him-just keeps circling the crate and chirping loudly.

    Do you think she misses him?[​IMG]

    i wouldnt doubt it if she misses him. I just rehomed a roo of mine as well because he was beating up his favorite hen, & now thats he's gone, she has attacked me a few times & now has partnered up with one of our other roos. i definately think that she missed your roo, especially if they were very close [​IMG]

    It really is aweful. She is sitting on his perch (she NEVER did this when he was here), clucking softly to herself. It is soooo sad![​IMG]

    I don't think she is really missing the Roo. Chickens have pea size brains. I think it's more like the pecking order has been changed.
