I am wondering how quickly seramas mature because my boys were crowing at about 4-6 wks.
That is crazy. I have a Serama Roo that was hatched on New Years and it still hasn't crowed.
Looks great, long sickle feathers and everything. Just no crow.
Chickens crow at different ages, and only if they learn to fully extend their necks.
they will crow at 3 weeks or so, and the hens may lay eggs at 4-5 months.and roo's mature before 1year, as far as growth and fertility. theywll for the most pr be grown at 6months or so.
