Hey everyone! Starting to wonder about this little Serama… Got them 2 weeks ago and they already had some grown feathers on their wings, but I don’t know how old they were when I brought them home. I’m trying to figure out if this is a hen comb, or if the cockerel features are starting to show. I guess I’ll find out in a couple weeks, but I sure am curious now.

From my experience you cant really tell unless their j a couple days old by the shape of their wings or when their pretty much adults. One thing to note is that roosters tend to get all their adult feathers much more slowly then the hens i wish there was more accurate insight i could give but their pretty hard to sex without doing a dna test

A but young but so far looks female to me. As far as wing sexing, only certain crosses can be wing sexed.
As Seramas are single combed breeds, you would should know with certainty between 6 to 8 weeks of age at most.😊
