Serama Roosters are very attentive to their flock and seem to be very gentile so It would not surprise me that he would help with all aspects of chick raising along with his hen.

Oh ya but not something that happens all the time but
Right now I have a Rooster who sits with the hens even
wile they are laying egg's and for the last three years
I have had a gander who sit's and hatches geese egg's
and hatches better then my incubator

I've read several instances of silkie roos doing the same thing. I think it also happens sporadically in other breeds as well. Wish you'd film it - we're love to see. My friend has 2 serama hens and silkie hen and silkie (special needs) roo as housepets.
