    why are they so rare? they are impossible to find in Canada.
    is it legal to ship eggs form the usa to Canada?
    and if i took bantams form a US hathury. and shipped them to Canada.
    do they have to be quorentined or something?

    They're not too rare. A couple reasons why they're less popular than other breeds is probably becuase: 1, they're not a "registered" breed, meaning they can't win best of show or anything at shows. and 2: they're quite pricey. 1 (good quality) bird can cost from $150 to $300! As for importing, I don't know much about that, but I think you do have to quarantined them for like 3 weeks.
