Ouch. Geez, look at all that bruising. Looked much worse yesterday because the foot was swollen from the compression bandage they had on it. Took these this a.m. when my foot doesn't look as much like a stuffed sausage, LOL. The calf is still very swollen, though.

Goodness, that looks painful. Hope you have a speedy recovery. I know you must be going nuts, I know I would be. Feel better.[IMG]

Ouch Cyn! I hope everything heals up real fast for you. I can only imagine how hard it is for you to stay still and to deal with the pain. Hang in there. So glad you're able to keep us updated. [IMG]

Oh wow. I never knew how bad bumblefoot could be. You may have
    to amputate. [IMG]

Ouch. Looks like you have been kicking rocks. Take lots O' drugs and sleep through the worst of it. [IMG] Hopes you feel better soon.

Quote:Nope, my dad had one leg amputated a few months ago. I'll keep this one, ugly swelling/bruising and titanium hardware.

My goodness! That made me wince!

What is the next step? Once your incision is healed will you get a cast with the walking heel? Or one of those shoe things and crutches?

I have one of those fashionable boot things with velcro straps-you can see it in the corner of one picture. No cast, at least not that's been mentioned to me. I use a neighbor's walker to get to the bathroom, but it wears me out just to go those few feet.
