Wow. Heard from three people today:
one friend (Stu) who is a Dr has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and starting treatments Monday.
Monica whom is a single mom of two young boys just found out yesterday that she has a tumor on her brain. In the hospital now. Don't know what the game plan is going to be, but she's been dealing with bad headaches, vision problems, loss of balance, ect.
My best friends Austin and Mary. Austin is a Pastor, and his sugar levels have elevated enough so that he's on daily shots. Mary was just formally diagnosed with Alzheimers. Neither are old. I've been suspecting this with Mary, but because she's on multiple medications (back surgery that was only partially successful) it was easier to think that it was the meds. Breaks my heart in knowing what they will be going through. Both were of tremendous help for me when my mom and grandfather were diagnosed with this.
