Set my first eggs in my new incubator !!! :)

I got 30 eggs in the mail from a BYC'er yesterday

Wasn't planning on setting them till tomorrow as I was suppose to have some more today but my lovely mail lady decided to haul them with her and put a note in my box instead of the eggs she had with her and they didn't make it back to the PO before they closed

So I decided to go ahead and put these beauty's in .Great way to cheer myself

Let the waiting begin !!!

Day 4 and I couldn't wait any more I had to try out my new candler

.I checked 4 of the lighter colored shipped eggs all have veins

I also checked my lone bantam egg from my own hens it has veins ! This is the first fertile one I've had from them

Thanks . I'm very excited and Little Red should be he just earned himself a temporary reprieve from freezer camp at least until my incubator gets empty again. I never knew something so tiny could be such an evil monster all 3 of my kids are terrified of him .
