I just set 24 brahma eggs yesterday! I bought the eggs from a nice couple so hopefully we have a good hatch. My last (and first!) hatch was 8 for 8 from my own chicken eggs.

I wasn't going to raise any chickens this year. My Roll X is hatching BEI right now.

BUT, today I bought a Brinsea from a very nice man in NW Indiana. He sent me home with 6 Standard Partridge Barnvelder eggs, and 6 Bantam Barnvelder eggs, double-laced....

    WHO could RESIST?!

I set seventy eight over the weekend over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so they'd hatch over a four day period. They're being used for an incubation display at my county fair next month.

On day nineteen I'll select forty to take to the fair and hatch the remainder at home.

That sounds neat I wish I could do something like that... [IMG]

Well, in my case, the fair called me to ask if I'd do the display. But if your fair doesn't have one you might approach them about putting one together.
