Setting eggs 10/14!

I just got my first incubator with fan, egg turner and temperature controler. I put 41 eggs in it on the 6th of October. Everything looks perfect (temp and moisture) and I have been so excited, BUT, today I candled the eggs and I only see veins in about 3. There is a full time rooster on duty so I don't understand whats going on. Should I be seeing more evidence at one week? Need advice, please help

How much you see can really depend on the color and thickness of the shells. My suggestion is, if none are stinky, leave em in. By the next candling you should see a nice shadowing and movement. At that point if they are still clear I'd think it was safe to toss them.

Anytime I am unsure of an egg I will keep it so long as it doesn't smell.

Hope this helps, best of luck!!
