My husband brought home wooden screen door to use as a door into the run I'm making for his new bantam buckeyes. The reinforced wire grid wasn't quite wide enough to secure in the normal way so I had to get imaginative. The wire is a heavy gauge stainless steel so it won't be broken by anything less than a bear. The holes I drilled are staggered so no easy ripped free of the wood. Also the corners and sides are reinforced with metal brackets. It isn't as secure as the metal security doors we have for the other run but everyone will be locked in a secure coop at night.
I used bottles caps as washers to secure the center bit.
