Sex and Breed.

We are relatively new to chickens we picked up 3 Ayam Cemani tonight. We were told we were getting 2 pullet, we picked up a free cockriel from another breeder and I think there a difference in the tails but am not 100% sure the cockerel is 3 months old and the pullets are 4 months old. First 3 pic are supposed to be the 4 month old pullets, 4and 5 is the cockerel.

2nd question, I think this little chick hatched today is a road island red, thoughts?

All the ACs are pullets. RIR is too young to tell for sure, but has a beard so probably not.

Those gals are so pretty, do they have black skin/bones too? What are Cemani's temperament?

How can you tell, the lady gave the "supposed cockerel" for free. She is a very reputable breeder. My fear was the other were cocks as well.

I see 2 pullets, & 1 cockerel Ayam Cemani.

The RIR isn't a RIR. It has a beard.

Now that I look closer, the one in the front in the third picture may be a cockerel.

pics 1 2 and 3 should be pullet, 4 and 5 should be the cockerel. I guess I'll know for sure if they start crowing.

As for the chick we had to blue eggs and one tan hatch over night, so 2 should be EE, maybe this is one of the EE but it looked similar to the RIR we hatched a few months ago. I'll get some pics of the other 2 chicks.

I think they are what they are sold as. The chickens in pics 1, 2, and 3 are pullets, and the one is pics 4 and 5 is a cockerel.
