Leghorn roo??? I question if she/he is a leghorn


12 week old rhode island red my dd gave me 2/3's the size of my red sex links who are the same age. I think she is a sex link
she seems small and very round

The white one is probably a White Plymouth Rock, and possibly a cockerel. I love your EE's coloring!

I think you're right about the "RIR" - I think it's a Red/Gold Sex-Link. I don't think RIRs have much white on them - black, often in the tail.

I was doubtful about the roo being a leghorn, I do have a matching pullet. The little sex link is so stunted I wonder if there is anything I can do for her.
I like the color on the EE also, she is a bit aggressive and very very bossy. Not aggressive towards humans but other chickens

I got two Gold Stars in this year's batch of chicks - one was TINY and has continued to be smaller than the other Gold Star and most of the other chicks, but she seems to be doing pretty well. I don't know what she'll be like when she's an adult, whether she'll be smaller or not. I also got three EEs, and although they were all the same size at first (I thought), one of them is now smaller than the others. He doesn't seem sickly, but he's often off away from the others when the bigger chicks rush to eat at mealtime.
