Is it possible, or did I just get lucky? [IMG]

I have a doe who had 9 baby bunnies. I took some to auction last night, unsexed. They weren't selling well so I brought them back home. I took them today to a poultry show and a friend of mine sexed them there. Of the 9 babies there are 4 black otters and 5 agoutis. I took 2 of each. Both the black otters were female and both agoutis were male. So now I need to get someone to sex the others for me, it will be interesting to see if they work out the same (b/o girls and agouti boys). I was just wondering if it were possible for them to be this way (sex-linked) or if it was just dumb-luck that I happened to get 2 girl b/o's and 2 boy agoutis. [IMG]

Just luck. There are no sex-linked colors in rabbits.

Just coincidence. It's a shame that you couldn't be that lucky. Kits could then be sexed shortly after birth.[IMG]
