Sex links?

Are they still sex links with a BR roo? I have mixed chicks from my black australorp hen and BR roo, and one chick has a spot on his head.... is he a he?

Could be a roo, but they shouldn't be sex-linked.

The hen has to be the barred one with a non-barred roo to create sex links. All of your chicks SHOULD have some degree of barring (I think). The experts will surely chime in.

Ya....I was just checking! I read here that they'd all have some degree of barring. They are so cute I think I could get rid of my TV....
