We have 3 Buff Orpingtons and only one of them is starting to stand out with its comb size and red colored wattles. The other two of the same age are the complete opposite, with very little comb and no red tones in the wattle area. Thoughts?

To me that looks like a roo with the pronounced comb at an early age. Also, unless the color is coming off differently in the photo, I don't think you have Buff Orpingtons. They should have white legs and yours have yellow (or they appear yellow in the photo).

This is a whole body shot... my husband corrected me that he/she is only 5 weeks old. Again, this is the only one from the batch showing comb and wattle development and the only one with the dark feathers coming in as well. The others have yellow feet too and were sold as Buffs as well. Now I'm not too sure what they are. Can you tell I'm a newbie? ;-)
