Now for the very last of the Tractor supply barrel. So far, out of 6 chicks gotten from the "Assorted Pullets", 5 have been roos. This one is my last chance for a true hen.
    Wish me luck!

She is so fun to look! I laugh everytime I see her.

Here you can see her size compared to an Americauna. They are both 10-11 weeks old.

Again, thanks for all your help!!

Need a good head & face shot to help determine that one.

You poor thing! Do you have a close-up of the head...both side and front view?

No, I don't have any other pictures. She is very shy, so even using the zoom, it is hard to get close enough to get a good frontal shot. It is dark here now, so I'll try for some better pictures tomorrow.

I'm not a silkie expert, but you can find some good examples in the Fluffs & Muffs Contest! It's in my sig.

How old is it? It looks like a cockerel from the headshots.

Here's my Charli at about 2 months...

It's either a slow developing roo or a pullet. I know that's not much help [IMG] It doesn't look overly girly.... but the feet do look small. And the comb not as large as I would expect. I'm 70% for pullet [IMG]

He/She is 10 weeks old. She has four toes on one foot, and five on the other.
