If you've stopped laughing now, I have an 8 month old Barred Rock laying hen who quit laying and exhibits roosterlike tendencies. I read that this can happen when there is no rooster to keep order. She is definitely top chicken (7 total) and decides who can eat when and even tries to mount them occasionally. Still Uncle Bertha is better tempered than most roosters so maybe it's OK. Anyone else run into this and any ideas to reverse it??
