i did think they were femals but i was unsure as they have a tinge of yellow on their front feathers. Thanks for the replies my first post and i feel very welcome great forum
You can usually tell by three weeks, the males will start getting a creamy rust color. It's not really yellow as it has that tinge of pale red color. It's pretty obvious if you have a male and female to look at side by side. When my current chicks are three weeks I'll try to post a pic and at four weeks. Before three weeks it can be iffy since its those middle breast feathers where the color will be that grow in last.
Could you get a chest picture if 1 and two? Totally agree 1 looks like a boy (red feathers on back of head) and 3 and four not feather sexable. 2 might be a pearl type variant (fawn/Italian fee) but not certain from the photo also looks overall reddish (roux too?) but hard to tell.
