I got 6 bantam Easter eggers six weeks ago, straight run. They hatched on Wednesday and arrived early Friday morning, which is when I attempted to feather sex them. They all looked the same, two layers of feathers on the edge of the wings.
Now, some are developing a comb earlier than others, and two especially keep puffing up their necks and chest bumping. I'm also wondering about that 3 row comb detail. I've done so much reading today and I'm still only 50% sure, so I thought I'd show you all.
Black and gold is my most heavily suspected roo chick, light brown chick has a comb like 4 others, presuming pullet.
