Hello! I got two straight run GLW from a feed store last month. I was actually hoping for one roo to protect the flock … I am fairly certain one of my four australorp pullets is a cockerel, so now I’m wondering if I’m going to end up with two (or even three) males in this batch of 6. 🙄🤔😬
I suspect the one on the left is a boy, but idk. I’m new to chicken keeping and this breed! (We have 8 pullets just coming into lay, but no cockerels so far, so I don’t even know what all to look for.)
Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you for weighing in. Do you mind me asking how you can tell? I’ve been trying to find guides, but no luck. And they look pretty different to me (from each other), so I was guessing one of each—but it’s completely a guess for me. Thank you for your help!

I believe bight are male. Young male Wyandottes will have big red combs, solid black neck feathers, thick legs, and odd feather growth.
