Thank you all for the help. I have told myself it is to cold to get chicks right now and will wait until a sexed bunch comes available. I don't like to rehome any of my chickens because I worry about them even after they leave. Thank you all

Good choice, I made the mistake of getting some and I have been seeing the lights flicker and praying that the power doesn't go out :cd

I would have put the brooder box in my bedroom which makes my husband crazy because its been zero degrees here for a few nights.So spring is in sight so I will wait. Good luck with your power.
