The two dark brahmas are males (male pattern, absolutely no way they are pullets). The blue and gold one in the 3rd photo is also a cockerel (another male pattern). Not quite sure on the others.

Thanks for the reply - What exactly is it that makes it a male patterning? Is it the uneven appearance of the colours?

On the two darks, it's the solid black feathers. Females get partridge patterned feathers, never black, while males grow in black and silver feathers. On the blue and gold one, it's the dark red feathers over his shoulders.
