Sexing chicks by headspot size

Hatched a group of mixed flock eggs under my broody. Most if not all were her own eggs and she's a Olive Egger from CCLxMarans crossing and I have 4 roosters (Lead is a Red Barred RIRxCCL, a mostly CCL, a Dominant White Favorelle mix and a Barred Rock that's new and not likely breeding anyone) The chicks have hatched 4 blacks two with large hourglass head spots two with fainter headspots, 2 creamy with light headspots, a light chocolatey with a faint head spot, a dark chocolate with a large head spot and a chipmunk with no headspot. I know these crosses aren't sexlinked but can I assume the larger headspots are likely cockerels based on being likely double barred? Pics of Momma, chicks and roosters. Dont mind the blue-lavendar chick, she's from another group of course

Maybe?

I agree that any double barred birds must be male, but I don't know if there are any other genes that might affect headspot size too.

So you're sayin there's a chance? Lol Yeah guess we'll see! I've had single barred birds with no headspot and double barred that you couldn't tell had a headspot (lightly colored chick down) so we'll have to wait and see. Hope they're not all roos

I think there's a chance. Hopefully you do have some females in the group
