Finally got back to my parents to take some photos of our current chicks. They're between 8-14 weeks old (I don't don't remember their hatch dates, sorry).
I have a pretty good guess of the gender of most of them, but I would like a 2nd opinion

This post will be very image heavy

    1. I have a feeling it's a roo

    2. Pullet

    3. I really hope it's a pullet, because it's very pretty, but I think it's a roo

    4. Pullet. Also, what colour is this? She's an off white, maybe silver, but we don't have any hens this colour. We do have blue orpington hens and a white leghorn rooster, so maybe a cross between them?

    5. Pullet. (Can you see the faverolle genes coming through)

    6. Roo, I think

    7. Pullet. (Again with the muffs)

    8. Pullet. If any wants to take guess at her breed, that'd be great. We got her as a chick from a neighbour and she's definitely mixed. She stand much more upright than our other girls

    9. Pullet

Putting this list together also made me realise I missed 5 chicks! We have 14 total, and I only got 9. Hopefully I'll head back to my parents and I can get the other 5
I know I missed a very pretty black and white mottled one and a solid black without muffs, both I think are pullets. Can't remember the other 3, but I think they're all black too.

I agree with all your guesses on their gender but I'm not sure about number 3. I think it might be rooster.

If you are sure they are undersy, 16 weeks, then this applies. If they are older.....well, that's a different story.

I am unsure of the sex of this 5-6 week old Orpington. Any ideas?

Well, there aren't any Orpingtons pictured here, unless you have a white, but those are really rare.

It is white. We bought the chick at Tractor Supply and were told that it is an unsexed Orpington.
