Sexing D' Uccle chicks???

    I've never had them before, and now we've got 6 of them that just hatched! Can you guess with them like others by how their feathers are coming in- more feathers=females , or are they too small to tell? There's several that are definitely more feathered than the others, and they all hatched within 36 hours of each other.

    You will have to wait 4-6 weeks to sex most D'Uccles. They are usually easy to sex by comb size and redness. Some people can tell at 3 weeks if they have a male. Their comb grows pretty quickly. However, not all D'Uccles are easy to sex. There are some females that will fool you into thinking it's a roo.

    It's nearly impossible to sex this soon. You can not vent sex bantams due to their small size and structure. They are not feather sexable either. It's a 50/50 male or female with this breed.
