Hello BYC!
I know this little one is WAY too young to really tell her gender however, this is my first time raising call ducks and I was wondering if someone on here would be able to tell me if this snowy call is a drake? When she gets wet you can see her head is very black underneath and the tail feathers are starting to turn black as well. This cutie is much darker than my other snowy call duckling. As you can see, he/she has a consistent dark bill as well. I read online that with snow calls, the females tend to have more neutral colors while the drakes will be more vibrant? Is this true? The first picture posted is my other snowy call duckling when she was younger for comparison.
Thank you all so much! Any and all help appreciated
