does anyone have pics of questionable chicks at the 4-5 week stage showing the combs etc and then at the stage where they are confirmed cockerel or pullet? I would think this would be most helpful info .. lavender orpington preferred please if at all possible?

Generally the boys will pink up between 4-6 weeks, than turn red by 8 weeks. Females will remain orange longer, but may take on a pink tinge.

In my experiences with lavender Orpingtons the females can pink up early and confuse you. Give them a few weeks. My blue Orpington rooster has a prominent comb at almost 5 weeks. All of yours have smaller combs currently.
