Sexing help

Any help on sexing these three white leghorn please. They are 5 weeks old today from hatching. Or is it too early to tell.

That much red at 5 weeks indicates cockerels.

At that age? They can be nothing but cockerels. Pullets won't get red until their 15 or so weeks.

Ahhh never mind. I'll give them a couple more months to make sure they are cockerels.

As you like, but I hate to say it... there's really no doubts. Females do not get their combs for a couple more weeks and don't get that red for at least 10 weeks more. Those are boys.

Not having chickens before, what's the best options for them? I know it was 50/50 on the sex but I wanted to get my 3 year old involved hatching eggs =) thank you

Well, First... Welcome to BYC! I just noticed you signed on with us today!!!!

Second, I'd go down to the bottom of the forums to the buy/sell/trade section: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/#buy-sell-trade.67
I'd see if somebody else on here is willing to take them. Make sure you put where you are in your post. Somebody may scoop them up.
The other option is to continue to feed them until they get bigger and eat them. But that's your call.
