Sexing Polish Chicks

Hello! I have 10 polish chicks - 3 Tolbunt, 2 frizzle white, 2 golden laced and 3 candy corn. They are different ages. Anyone able to confirm the estimate age and guess on their sex? I thought the first one pu

My guess is that 1 and 8 are both cockerels.

These birds are way too young to determine gender. The crests will change significantly over the next several weeks. With the beardless ones, wattles tend to develop early in males and do not develop much at all until laying age in females.

I agree! On the non-bearded ones, you will likely be able to identify obvious cockerels at eight weeks-ish due to wattle growth

I would say between 4-6 weeks, based on size and feathering.

Agreed. Polish are late bloomers.
