Sexing Silkie Game

I have some silkies that are about 7 weeks. For the life of me, I can't tell "streamers" from hen poofs.
I am posting some pictures in case any one is up for the silkie sexing game...

So it’s too early for streamers. BUT any with comb development are boys. Pullets should still have flat combs at this age.

Now I don't feel like a total dork for not seeing streamers! To see if there is comb development, do I pet their heads?

Silkies are tough... 8 months after we got “Pretty Girl” it crowed.. #4 looks like the comb Pretty Girl had. Im not an expert just my personal experience.

Push their crest (poof) back. That way you can see the comb better.

yep. Also 7 weeks is early so you may have some late blooming boys show up later.

This is Big Bird. The breeder that gave "him" to us said that all the younger chicks were very attacked to him. He is several weeks older and the breeder said she thought he is a roo.
Is there an age that most combs are developed on Silkies?
