I am new to this chicken thing and am looking for some relief or concern over the sex of my 5 week old babies. I have two Bared Rock, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Americaunas.

We live in Arizona and I am also wondering what breed does the best.

2 reds and Bared Rock

Thanks for the assistance.

The "Ameraucana" are actually Easter Eggers - good news is, they are pullets
The Barred Rocks also appear to be pullets
Neither of the reds is screaming roo - but can you get individual shots of them as well?

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I'm not seeing anything screaming rooster at the moment. But they are still quite young so don't go drawing any conclusions.

You can also post photos at "what breed or gender is this," if you do so, mention their age in the photos.
