In the Brooder
I've read what to look for on sexing newly hatched Welsummer birds several times and I still can never figure it out! These seem to have eyeliner, a good V-shape, and a decent amount of darkness in their brown.
However, Chick 2 does have a little less eyeline, a little lighter markings, and not quite as much definition in the stripe on the back of the neck. That one also is the most curious and friendliest of the three.
My best case scenario is having hatched one roo and two pullets.
If you have an opinion, I would love to hear it! Thanks
