Its just a close up view of the cloaca. If there is a bump, its a roo. If its a round hole, its not. Its not a mythical look at the feathers, or size of feet, just simply looking at where either the egg comes out, or the sexual organs are. How old are the chicks. I've heard this is only accurate within the first 24 hour of the chick's life. I think any time after then the females will develop very similar to the males and can also be life threatening if not performed within the first 24 hours.I reposted
