how long do sexlink chicken lay very well for.

Mine are about 1 1/2 years now & are great layers. From what I have read they continue to lay throughout there life span but it can slow down some.

The first 2 to 3 years is when they lay the best. After that they slow down or burn out (completely stop). I have a couple of 1 year older that are my best layers. They hang with my last RIR hen. I call them the Ginger Squad. I love their fiesty personalities.
