    Hi yall,
DH and I have been trying to figure out what we can do to honor the passing of our dear Sgt Major Bok Bok. Some of you may remember he was killed in the line of duty protecting his girls from a snake at the young age of 5 weeks old.

I decided to burn my love for him in wood. This is my wood burning memorial of my beloved Bok Bok.

Here's a real picture of him:

I was thinking about making it with a dead snake in his mouth but that would just be weird. I think it turned out pretty nicely. DH can't believe I did it. It's my first attempt at wood burning.

Thanks everyone. I would have loved it if Bok Bok was still here and I could watch him grow to a full grown rooster and then made a wood burning of him with at beautiful long tail and giant comb and wattles but what can I do. He's gone. I was VERY upset when he died, then I realized that I have all of my girls alive and safe because of HIM. He gave his life for his girls and that is what he was born to do. He may have been only 5 weeks old but he was the bravest baby I think I will ever see in my lifetime.

    RIP Bok Bok
