Shade plants for chickens to forage on

I need ideas for what I can plant that is shade tolerant, that the chickens, ducks and geese can browse on please.

Anything they browse on might soon be eaten to the ground. I planted an elderberry near the coop and run. They like it for the shade, protection, and foliage. When the berries come in, they eat all they can reach. It grew fast enough so that they could not kill it. My chickens like to browse the parts of bean plants that are next to the fence of the garden.

Everything I plant for the chickens is surrounded by wire, so that they cannot dig it up, but can still eat the greenery they can reach
through the wires.
