Other than adding heated water sources, i don't do much in way of winter prep, i do bed a little deeper and close some windows but overall i still do the same things i do throughout the rest of the seasons. Now in real awful times i don't always let the ducks out, i do try each day but sometimes it's just to nasty and they don't leave the barn so i just close it down. (this is my main flock)

What do you use to keep their water heated?
My girls are in the stream all day- at night in their run, sleeping in the pool. I am thinking I should just take out their night time kiddie pool for the winter, and just get them one of those medium sized rubber tubs from tractor supply and bury it partially in the ground.
