Sharing a picture of the dogue we adopted

This is Beau. He's a 2 year old Dogue de Bordeaux. He has been great with my daughter and step-son - and my Pointers. He is very underweight at this point, but eating well. We really know nothing about him, other than he was purchased from a breeder in Pittsburgh, PA. Owned by his first owner for a year, and then owned by his second owner for a year. I would like to get him enrolled in a therapy dog program. Everyone that meets him, loves him. Although, he is a little intimidating at first.

Very nice looking boy you have there, and how awesome of you to rescue him! Dogues are a difficult misunderstood breed, but in the right home can flourish!

What a completely handsome boy - a friend has one and they well he at least is the most amazing gentle laid back dog - They look one way but are big softies in my experience . Congrats!!!!!

He is a very handsom dog! I've heard they can be stubborn and a bit of a handful, but I've also heard they make wonderful dogs in the right home. I'm glad he was able to find you!
