I was worried because I bought my first Peahen about a week ago. She seemed to love being with the Turkeies and Guineas but one afternoon she took off in the woods. We were unable to catch her and each night she get farther away and higher in the trees. This went on for about aweek but tonight I heard something next to on of my coops and there she was. About chest high in a bush. I waited till after dark and she was no problem to catch. I put her in a large brooder for the night but I am going to have to start on our new covered coop so she will have plenty of room.

Yay good thing she came back! Make sure she gets kept where she can't get out until she knows its home. It's possible she was looking for other peafowl too...
