Oh Noooooooo!!! My pretty 8-week-old Partridge Cochin hen is a HIM!!!

And of course he is the sweetest and the prettiest.

He's done a few practice crows, but I was deeply in denial. The one he let off with this morning was no mistake. Nuts. Roosters are not allowed in my neighborhood, so I will have to find him a new home.

I had the same thing happen when my silver laced wyandotte "pullet" crowed. I also had to rehome him because I can not have roosters in the city. I was able to find a nice home for him on Craigslist. Good luck.
