So I guess Ive done something right. My Hen is still alive. The diarrhea is gone. Her poo was nasty bright green with yellow cap (instead of white). Wormed her on the 29th. Thing is she is still quite depressed and weak. And should be because she doesnt eat on her own. Im forcing wet crumble mush in her. Though 2 days ago she showed interest in zucchini slices. She is still pecking at those when I hold her and offer. Doesnt really eat much but at least shows interest! She has not layed a egg this whole time, but she was and is really sick so I dont think has one. She is pooping well too. She lays down most of the time so her bottom has gotten very nasty caked in poo, so I have bathed her bottom a few times and she is ok with that.

But now what should I do to try and get her eating??? What else is soft on her system that I should offer? What about Grit??

Ive got some progressive poo pictures to post but It takes me forever because of my internet. ANY help is greatly appreciated. After all this Ill be so heartat broke if I cant heal her :(

Well she ate cucumber and speggeti squash like crazy tonight. I got chick grit to spinkle on her stuff and mix in the wet crumbles. She seemed more perky like the food made her feel better. I washed her bottom, dryed her, dusted her and after she ate let her wonder in the grass. She in and at the grass! Her first real chicken behavior in days! Gosh I am hoping this is her on the mend!

It's good to hear she's doing better!

Since she seems to be getting better, I'd just keep on giving her what you have been, though you can probably add some electrolytes to her water to give her a bit of extra energy.

Best of luck to you both! :)

Thank you..I sure will. Hopeing she eats good today. It was plain to see that made her feel better.
