So, while the camera was out, I took a couple of pics of a few EEs
Oh, you really need to bring those little ones to me...
Then the eggs:
From top to bottom:
2 Cuckoo marans
2 Barred rocks
Yep, day 18 is Thursday. I will even do a full candle
I'll be right there...
And lastly, For real, new pictures of the Ameraucana. One jumped up on top of the waterer, so I got some good shots
I love that mother hen! She is beautiful! Her colors are awesome...and of course, the babies are cute too!
It goes fast when you're not in there candling and drawing circles every day...
She was my first hen. She is a d'uccle, but way, way off SOP, so I just call her a booted bantam. Awesome pet chickens, though. I started with her and one rooster two years ago. She raised 3 hens last year, and this year I'm up to 6 hens with a couple of roosters and 6 chicks in the pen. I have another broody due to hatch sometime this week, so hopefully they will be as prolific as the silkies
Don't forget your hammer... I might have you build something for me while you're here...
Very pretty... feathering looks lovely.
Really? I thought that would make it drag on forever! Too boring....
