    It is so hard right now to not go and take the top off the egg to look at my baby silkie cross.

    But I know I have to let it have 24 hours to do it by itself.

    Hopefully by then a few others will have poked thier beaks out.

    I have two questions on this.
    First, I've never asked what DH and DW meant. I just assumed dedicated husband or wife.
    Second, I just always assumed you were a guy

    DH= dear/dedicated husband DW= dear/dedicated wife.
    He said DH, but then clarified DH was a she.

    Now I'm even more confused :gig
    Is she your DW, do you prefer saying dedicated heart, or is Scott a girl's name in Oz?

    Oh, sorry. I don't care for the green eggs myself and only use them for cooking.

    I've always seen it used "dear" but me too...lol

    Thank you for clarifying when you didn't have to. I've never heard dh refered to as "Dear Heart" that is interesting too...lol I guess I know better now than to assume it's dear husband.

    They might be attached a lot more securely on a 2yo, but if you can do it I'm 100% positive his attitude will change after his testosterone wears off. He may not be super nice, but he won't be as aggressive. It's also going to be hard to see that far into the bird with the older wider body. Why don't you just eat him?

    I candled last night and I might be down to two good eggs. Not a surprise with pullet eggs I guess.

    That is a great story BYC and what a cool thing of you to do.

    She tells everyone I'm her wife and she's my husband. I do the cooking and cleaning. She's into sports and TV.
    We even did our marriage vows that way - I took her as husband. She took me as wife. So I'm a guy with a female husband.

    It's very good for confusing people. We are not gender biased here!.
