@lazy gardener - I have to agree with the weight of some of the tools. If you have to reach up far they feel too heavy but what's a girl to do? Wait for a man to help after asking him dozens of times or do it herself? And I don't want to hear it from any man about how he's get around to it. Eventually does not cut it. Nobody likes to wait on someone else's schedule. Man or woman.

I do have a bad habit of being a projectaholic. I can't sit still for long without doing something. Working a desk job has made it worse. "I've sat all day. This is boring. I KNOW! Let's go home and lay down some flooring" BRILLIANT!

"Oh and after that room is done let's skim-coat the whole master bedroom and put up some batten and board. Not sure where we would live during this but wouldn't it look so much better"

PS. I told my husband I'm picking up a rooster this weekend. He is less than thrilled. Pfft. Whatever.

I'll just buy him his toy later. I'm pretty sure his PA will drown out a rooster crow.

BYC is eating my picture posts. I tried to post candeling pics twice now. Anyways I candeled a few, I needed it, having a bad day. So far so good! I'll do a full candle on Monday and mark air cells, also toss the clears. So far HovaBator is running perfectly (knock of wood) temp. holding steady at 100F and humidity has been average 35%- running dry. I haven't gone past 40% or below 30% so far. So let's hope it stays this way!

My question to red, blue and purple teams- which incubator did you start off with? Anyone go the homemade route the first time around?

I'm gonna hate myself for this it's gonna put me on the last page and I'll have to come all the way back over here this is a1 day page record they got all them fancy named incubators I got me one old metal bower for lock down and hatching and 2 farm innovators that I incubate in. I got plans for a homemade egg cooker but it's gonna this winter before I can build it .crazy is right we got flying fingers Amy in the north corner and quick hands scflock in the south corner don' t have a clue what round this is so far it's a split decision welcome to ring side

Ditto!! on almost everything! Dxcept getting pics eaten. Temp and humidity good, running dry, had to candle a few... bad day... will candle all and mark air cells on Monday. Although I'll probably wait till day 10 to toss clears.

And a Muscovy duckling with her "siblings". Cute little kittens. Momma cat gathers all the ducklings and brings them to her nest at night. What a good " mom".
